What is Custom Digitizing

Embroidery digitizing is a process to convert artwork to stitches. The embroidery machines can read the stitch file made by our program. These machines will sew the hats, shirts, jackets, bags, etc. With digitized files, the Quality of the embroidery will be the same on one piece or on hundreds of pieces.

For highest quality designs we need good artwork. We like to use vector files, but bitmaps are also acceptable:

AI, EPS, TIFF, BMP, GIF, JPG, etc... and

Most other files used by Adobe (CS and earlier), Corel Graphis Suite (11 and earlier) and Macromedia (MX and earlier) programs.

For simple designs 72-150 dpi is sufficient. For detailed, intricate designs, or for Embroidery Portraits we might need pictures with 300 dpi or higher.

We will Not digitize copyrighted designs or logos unless we get the permission from the owner, or a copy of the Permission of Use for that particular design or logo.
